Job Description

GDIT is currently seeking at Entity Resolution Engineer in Washington, DC or Huntsville, AL to support our customers mission-critical needs.

Required:

  • Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly Clearance

  • Minimum of 5 years of Hadoop and Big Data science experience

  • 3 years of experience with Apache Hive, Apache, Pig, Apache Spark or MapReduce, developing queries and analytics

  • Needs familiarity w/ AWS

Duties:

  • Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific projects.

  • Develops data-driven solutions to business challenges of moderate scope/complexity.

  • Utilizes advanced tools and computational skills to interpret, connect, predict and make discoveries in data.

  • May use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, efficiencies, process improvements, and other business outcomes.

  • May assist with identifying opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.

  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience using Hadoop or other large scale data warehouse technologies to support entity and relationship resolution and operations.
• At least 1 year of experience in the following technologies:
• Apache Spark
• Hive
• Pig
• ER Resolution Engines
• Unix scripting
• Java
• Scala
• Novetta Entity Analytics
• Wareman Pro
• Similar ER engines

Back End: Java, Scala
• Database: SQL
• Cloud: AWS
• Others: Elasticsearch, Accumulo, Apache Spark,
