HOW A COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Conducting the daily operations for the data and voice maintenance work center to include planning preventative maintenance, diagnosing the need for and coordinating corrective maintenance, and producing detailed documentation of maintenance actions.
Performing systems integration, maintenance, configuration, and modification to a family of automatic procession equipment, including printers, computers, scanners, faxes, routers, switches, etc.
Coordinating and conducting baseline configuration, updates, patches, troubleshooting, and repairs for all data and voice equipment to include generating schedules for preventative maintenance of the same.
Providing on-the-job training and guidance to assigned military servicemembers in both the maintenance of equipment and the generation of accurate maintenance documentation within the designated system of record.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: BS/BA or Equivalent experience
Required Experience: 2+ Years’ related experience
Required Technical Skills: CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8570 Compliance)
Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills
Location: On Customer Site, Washington, District of Columbia
