Job Responsibilities: The Regional Training Site- Medical (RTS-Med) programs Logistics Manager supervises the program functional areas of all supply, property accountability, warehouse and maintenance (both bio-medical, and ground equipment and vehicle) operations across the three sites. Responsible to the Program Manager for the successful execution of the PWS requirements across sustainment functional area.
Responsibilities include overseeing sustainment operations across all three sites and assisting in the implementation in all aspects of the Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP) and Command Maintenance Discipline Program (CMDP) per the PWS and applicable regulations. Ensures GCSS-Army and M3PT documentation is standardized, complete and accurate within the program. Responsible for the program-wide coordination of supply and maintenance activities and equipment readiness. Responsible for timeliness and accuracy of any program-level supply and maintenance automated reports.
Continually communicates and coordinates actions with the PM and the PMO’s Quality Control Manager, as well as with the individual Site Managers, Sustainment Managers and the Government customer Site Directors, Property Book Officers, and Maintenance staff on all sustainment functional area matters, ensuring that any potential issues are identified in advance and risk mitigation principles are instituted.
Education/Equivalent Training Required: Bachelor’s Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
Experience: Requires 5-8 years of related experience, including supervisory experience, in similar programs involving military sustainment functions of supply and maintenance, and ideally in hospital units. Three years recent experience as an Army supply technician, MOS 92 or 920-series, at Battalion or Brigade level, or joint or civilian equivalent with three of those years at a unit/organizational level operation. One-year supervisory experience in property management.
Additional experience with military medical units, especially with a field or combat support hospitals is highly desirable.
Unique/Additional Requirements: Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in sustaining military
operations; knowledge of relevant military sustainment programs/applications such as GCSS-A, P-BUSE, etc. Computer literate with the most current Microsoft Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office Systems and possess a working knowledge of current Army automated supply systems.
