GDIT is seeking Junior to Senior level Help Desk Analysts to help support of our Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Multi-Network Support Services (MNSS) program in Arlington, Virginia.
NOTE: These Help Desk roles are contingent upon contract award funding AND have the following shift schedules available:
Shift A MON-FRI 6am-2pm
Shift B MON-FRI 2pm-10pm
Core Hours MON-FRI 6am-6pm – any 8 hour shift between these core hours, to be negotiated with the supervisor approval
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supports Tier I/II/VIP Support level IT end users by providing technical support and troubleshooting services for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Respond to queries either in person or over the phone.
Respond to email, IM Messages (IM), and voicemail messages for customers seeking help. Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software both in person and through the use of remote access tools.
Provides end-user software and hardware troubleshooting.
Applies basic diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions.
Participates in the administration of e-mail, Microsoft office, etc.
Provides remote support through desktop mirroring and other remote access applications for worldwide sites.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
Identify investigate, resolve, and follow-up problems brought to the helpdesk y users of cloud infrastructure.
May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.
Active TS/SCI security clearance
High School Diploma or higher completed education
2-5 years of end user support experience
Upon start of employment on contract, must meet DOD 8570.1M certification requirement (GIAC Security Essentials – GSEC, CompTIA Security+ CE, Security Certified Network Professional – SCNP, Systems Security Certified Practitioner - SSCP)
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
Able to provide one of the following shift schedules indicated above
