At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an Administrative Assistant III a typical day will include:

  • Candidate will operate under a high level of autonomy and discretion. This office is a fast paced environment and support should be able to act independently, while working within the Group/Division branches and entities

  • The candidate will be a self-starter who pays attention to detail and has a proven successful and extensive experience working with Front Office-level business and technical personnel to provide communications and achievements to all levels of management.

  • Candidate will be customer facing and sole support for the office

  • Candidate should have advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, to include Powerpoint, Word, and Excel, to produce high quality, technical and non-technical documents and presentations that will be used to communicate the status of activities to all levels of personnel

  • Candidate should possess excellent verbal/written communication skills while working with employees to collect, compile, and evaluate statistical data in various types of documents, records, reports, plans, policies, regulations and highlights

  • Candidate should be able to support a variety of activities associated with an executive level office

  • Candidate should be able to schedule, prepare materials, facilitate and participate in office level program management process activities. Also need to track action items by independently collecting, analyzing and disseminating those actions, ensuring their successful completion

  • Physical activity is limited. Candidate may be required to go to other buildings for meetings utilizing Sponsor vehicle, as required


  • HS Diploma and 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph

  • Core hours are 0900-1500 hours, however, flexibility is offered to accommodate schedule

  • Proficient Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

  • Able to perform duties with minimal supervision and some team interaction
