GDIT is partnering with Microsoft Global Data Center Operations (GDCO) to provide end-to-end data center IT support services including data center hardware break/fix/move/add/change, data center staging and deployment, and logistics/asset management support for a U.S. Government customer.
o Able to competently perform data center support tasks with little guidance following run book instruction
o Has demonstrated hands-on practical knowledge of systems and policies
o Operational management tasks including the prioritization of ticketing queues, working to resolve escalations, and clearing blocking issues to enable continued delivery of datacenter support activities
o Experience operating heavy-load movement equipment (pallet jacks, chassis lifts, etc.)
o Provides Logistics/Asset Management support
o BS or equivalent + 0 yrs related experience or MS + 0 yrs related experience
o TS Clearance
o Must be open to shift work as 24/7 support is needed
o Candidate must be a team player and have the ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
o Must be able to multi-task
o Must possess good communication and customer service skills
o Experience with data center and/or server experience preferred
