GDIT is searching for a Systems Security Engineer to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) in Dahlgren, VA.
GDIT is working to support the day to day IT, network, and cyber systems for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) and have an opportunity for a Systems Security Engineer.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Secret clearance based on T3 investigation required
BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
Prepare and develop certification and accreditation documentation that complies with applicable DoD, Navy and NAVSEA IA requirements and guidance
Review, validate, and maintain accreditation records for NSWCDD RDT&E IT and network systems for the NSWCDD IAM
Serve as Information Assurance Officers for the RDT&E enclave within the department for system accreditations to create and maintain concept of operations (CONOPS), create and maintain documentation in accordance with current Government standard requirements (i.e. DIACAP, RMF, etc.) for ATO packages, and maintain records of RDT&E IT equipment in the Corporate IPA data
Job Requirements:
Six (6) years of professional experience in relation to IT security with the DoD or Navy
Experience with vulnerability analysis, risk analysis, SCAP scans, DISA Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) implementation, scanning for viruses and other software that is detrimental
Qualified experience in accreditation of systems and audits
This position is required to be designated as IAM II/CASP/GSLC
Secret clearance based on T3 investigation required, T5 investigation desired
5 + years of related experience
