We are GDIT. Our work depends on an Application Systems Analyst joining our team to support USAMRDC activities at Fort Detrick in Frederick, MD.

As an Application Systems Analyst, you will be trusted to support the design, development, testing and maintenance of software applications that support the MRDC. You will play a critical role in ensuring that software applications are developed and maintained to meet the business requirements of the MRDC. Your unique blend of strong communication skills, technical skills and an innate ability to collaborate across technical and business teams will help the MRDC achieve mission driven outcomes.
HOW AN APPLICATION SYSTEMS ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Working with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Supporting the development teams with design and development of software applications.
Performing system testing to ensure that software application meets business requirements and is free of defects.
Work with team members to implement software applications into the production environment.
Support the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the software application.
Work with technical writers to create and maintain documentation related to the software application including user manuals, technical specifications, and other relevant documentation.
Work collaboratively with other members of the IT team.
Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates on the progress of the project and address any concerns or issues that arise.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance
Possess active 8570.01-M baseline certification(s) Security+ CE, CND or equivalent
Experience as a Systems Analyst in a DoD environment
Strong technical, collaboration and communication skills
Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree, 1+ years of experience
1 + years of related experience

Less than 10%
