  • The Administrative Assistant (AA) provides the full scope of administrative support to the Director and other office staff (approx. 10 people). The AA will be primarily responsible for supporting the Director, Deputy Director, a Technical Director and a Chief of Staff. If time permits the AA could be asked to support other members of the office

  • The AA shall be a self-starter and work autonomously. The position is customer facing and in a dynamic environment. The AA shall know the Directors role and responsibilities with working knowledge of office priorities

  • The AA shall have a professional decorum and ability to interact with senior personnel. The officer must show a great level of maturity, autonomy, authority and discretion in this position

  • The AA will manage a workflow with continuously changing priorities, project schedules, and actionable items

  • The AA will support the senior staff by providing phone call management, managing visitor traffic, and maintaining appointment calendars to assure the Principal's time is maximized


  • HS Diploma and 7 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph

  • AA work schedule shall be similar to that of the director who works Monday- Friday from 0800-1600

  • AA shall have excellent communication skills- verbal, written and listening

  • Proficient Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

  • Able to perform duties with minimal supervision and some team interaction

  • This position is on customer site
