Performs a variety of complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of large, complex, Department of State program
Develops plans, including budgets, travel schedules and visa requirements for overseas deployment across several program areas
Monitors tasks to meet contractual/project travel requirements
Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met
Interacts regularly with Department of State Armored Vehicle Branch and other industry representatives to ensure conformance to customer requirements
Ensure compliance in all aspects of internal and DOS travel procedures
Drive continuous improvement of travel program
Supervisor of travel coordination group (3-4 people)
Participates in special projects as required
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience
5-8 years of related program analysis experience with an emphasis on travel planning
Experience in planning international travel (air, lodgings, visas, etc.) in line with operational priorities – Department of State (DOS) experience preferred
Experience writing and reviewing travel standard operating procedures (SOP)
Experience in submitting travel expense reports
Skills and Abilities
Effective organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite
Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
Analytical mind with strong business acumen
Willingness and ability to obtain an Interim Secret Security Clearance
