General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking an Information Security Analyst Advisor/ CyberSecurity to work as a Product Owner in support development and testing of an Air Support Operations Center (ASOC)/Tactical Operations Center (TOC) Command and Control (C2) application.
The software solution provides capabilities for data communications, targeting, and battlespace awareness supporting Tactical Air Control Party (TACP), TOC, and ASOC digitally aided C2 and Close Air Support (CAS) operations. The tailored Agile DevSecOps software development process uses two week sprints, includes features of Scrum and Kanban, and leverages a CI pipeline.
Plan, manage, monitor and upgrade security measures for protection of organization’s data, systems and networks
Operate and maintain application security tools, such as those used for static application security testing (SAST) and dynamic application security testing (DAST)
Ensure the organization’s data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security control
Communicate with relevant departments with regards to vulnerability mitigation activities within the organization
Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management
Troubleshoot any operational issues and engage product support as needed
Knowledge in application development lifecycle
Provide security status to program manager
BA/BS, (or equivalent) and 8+ years' experience
Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.
Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard internal information systems, network, databases, and Web-based security.
The likely salary range for this position is $96,000 - $144,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
