Responsible for the coordination of various tasks accomplished in the Chesapeake Electronic Laboratory and coordinating the shipments, receiving and movements of materials.  Participate in coordination meetings as necessary.

Responsible for executing and oversight of receiving, packing, storage, and shipping of materials and equipment.  Ensure parts and materials are properly maintained within the warehouse and locations are updated in the Chesapeake Material Management Database (CMMD). For all items entered into the repair cycle ensure that a tracking form is initiated.

Responsible for executing and oversight of material procurements generated at the local GDIT Chesapeake facility.

Know how to access and be familiar with applicable QMS policies, procedures, instructions, and work instructions and provide assistance and direction regarding these sites to others, as needed.  Review and assist in the implementation of applicable QMS policies, procedures, instructions, and work instructions at the designated site location.  Ensure that personnel are informed of QMS requirements that affect the specific site location, and that those requirements are implemented.  Attend required QMS meetings and distribute information from meetings to personnel.  Support the Division/Sector/Business Area QMS Leads by responding to required data call information and by assisting in the completion of required action items resulting from QMS meetings.  Monitor responsiveness and implementation of corrective actions for Process Improvement Requests (PIRs) written against your location specific programs, (as applicable) and ensure that the PIRs are closed in a timely manner.  Coordinate with the site location Records Assistant to ensure implementation of the Records Management Program and completion of requirements.  Coordinate with site

Program Managers in the implementation of required Program/Project Plans.
