Our work depends on a Communications Analyst joining our team to support NASA activities at NASA Headquarters in Washington DC.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Communications Analyst supporting NASA, you will be trusted to support an array of communications and outreach activities for multiple functional areas of a large federal government organization.


  • Participate in the development, revision, and delivery of internal and external communications in support of Customer Outreach, Communications, and Organizational Change Management activities and initiatives.
  • Support the development and implementation of communication approach/plan
  • Prepare and edit materials, e.g., speechwriting, presentations, talking points, news articles and other documents.
  • Assist the Government with developing marketing and outreach notifications in accordance with NASA’s policies, procedures and processes.
  • Coordinate, manage, and track the dissemination of communications to customers and related client groups supported by the program.
  • Execute quick-turn communications tasks or initiatives.
  • Plan and develop print and digital content to a high standard of quality.
  • Adhere to standards and quality-assurance resources such as style guides and federal plain language requirements
  • Support continuous improvement efforts
  • May lead and facilitate groups or manage strategic engagements on behalf of senior leaders. 
  • Ensure communications in performance of all work are professional and accurate, are consistent with the goals of the program, and promote positive working relationships with consumers of CyPrESS solutions and services


  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent writing, editing and content development abilities
  • Experience working in government space
  • Extensive experience writing and editing on deadline for publication
  • Experience conceiving and developing content for print and digital platforms
  • Experience and comfortability working in a fast-paced work environment with rapidly shifting priorities
