Cyber Security Lead responsible for designing developing analyzing, troubleshooting, and documenting security infrastructure, policies, and processes. Provide client consulting on DoD policies and procedures concerning IT security and related technologies. Write, manage, and maintain policies and procedures for the organization. Plans and coordinates security initiatives. Devise solutions to operational problems within the capacity and operational limitations of installed equipment. Provide internal consulting, technical guidance, information and support to application developers, computer operations, workstation support, company management and departmental clients. Works with and directs other security professionals as required to coordinate efforts to resolve cross-team issues and communicate changes. Responsible for evaluating current security systems and planning for future technologies. Provide technical expertise to monitor authorized connections as well as detecting, locating, and removing rogue devices. Maintain Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages for associated systems and software. Evaluate applications and provide security overview to devices utilized within the organization.
","Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
5+ Years IT Security experience
DoDI 8570.01 Level III Certification (i.e. CISSP or equivalent)
Minimum of two years of experience with cyber security efforts related to wireless systems
Experience leading DoD and IC risk management activities including implementation of DoD and IC Risk Management Frameworks
Experience with RMF and Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and procedures
Familiar with security policies
Familiar with configuring, installing, planning, and maintaining IT security systems
Is competent in areas of information systems security, including policy, security standards, network, application, database and physical
Good communication skills; shows tact, effective listening skills and follow through
Ability to brief senior leaders regarding security vulnerabilities and portray best practices
Other Cyber security related technology certifications a plus
