Be a part of the men and women that solve some of the worlds most complex technical challenges! General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking Helpdesk Analysts and Jr. Systems Administrators to support the Navy Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) in Crane, Indiana.

Helpdesk Analyst: Provides technical support and troubleshooting to network, desktop, and/or systems hardware and software:

  • Provide support by means of deploying, tracking, auditing, and returns for mobile device service requests

  • Enter and maintain the mobile device data using the mobile device tracking system application

  • Provide end user support to troubleshoot NMCI-related hardware and software issues.

  • Create and administer security groups for NMCI users.

  • Coordinate with managers/users on the type of services available via the ITD Service Catalog for RDT&E and the NGEN contract. Advise on which options are best to meet job requirements

  • Advise users/managers of NMCI Business Rules supplied by the Assistant Contract Technical Representative (ACTR).

  • Track deployments, expedite/monitor trouble tickets, process Move, Add, Changes (MACs) within Navy Enterprise Tool (NET)

  • Gather ordering information for the NGEN contract and enter data in appropriate Service Delivery Application (SDA)

Jr. Systems Administrator: Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems:

  • Perform workstation, server, network, and application scanning to determine vulnerability risks that may exist

  • Review and identify known risks according to Cyber Security requirements and mitigate known risks acceptable levels as determined by the ISSO to reduce the likelihood of risk to the system

  • Support the design, development, and integration of software/hardware-based solutions

  • Install software application that provide or enhance the security of individual platforms, systems, and/or networks

  • Conduct analyses and record findings on current patch compliance status of computers for use in the Assessment & Authorization process

  • Experience with implementation and reporting on DISA STIG’s and POAM creation and updating

  • Experience working with ACAS and/or Nessus

Helpdesk Analyst Basic Qualifications:

  • High School or GED

  • 1+ years IT customer service experience (NMCI preferred)

  • Security+ CE certification

  • Secret clearance

The Jr. Systems Administrator requires the above with the additions of:

  • 2+ years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis - ACAS & STIG experience a plus.
