The Contractor Team shall provide support for the operations and maintenance of the Sponsor’s enterprise Tableau instances

The Contractor Team shall assist in the standup of new Tableau instances on the Sponsor’s network(s) of choice

The Contractor Team shall adhere to best practices for cloud computing and hosting

The Contractor Team shall design, develop, and implement a DevOps deployment and testing pipeline to assist with version upgrades and deployments of Tableau to aid in rapid release of new capabilities and features

The Contractor Team shall have experience with system administration, network configuration, and shell scripting on Linux-based systems (e.g. CentOS)

The Contractor Team shall administer Amazon Web Service (AWS), or similar cloud based systems

The Contractor Team shall use AWS Managed Services, or similar cloud services and related tools

The Contractor Team shall design, develop, deploy, and maintain scripts for data sync functions, access controls, monitoring and audit functions to assist with Tableau administration activities

The Contractor Team shall evaluate existing Sponsor systems, familiarizing themselves with system architecture, and inherit the development and O&M responsibilities for those systems as directed by the Sponsor

The Contractor Team shall identify key interdependencies, roadblocks, issues, and risks with modifying existing systems

The Contractor Team shall develop, integrate, and implement plans to proactively address issues in a timely manner

The Contractor Team shall work with the Sponsor to generate and document system requirements

The Contractor Team shall make recommendations on system architecture, capability inclusion, and system enhancement

The Contractor Team shall work with the Sponsor and partners at Tableau to generate new development requirements for the Tableau software package

The Contractor Team shall incorporate new development requirements into Tableau work cycles

The Contractor Team shall verify completion and release of Tableau updates

The Contractor Team shall provide end user support for troubleshooting, usability questions, site creation, license management and distribution

The Contractor Team shall provide Tableau training support and consultations to Sponsor mission partners on product overviews, capability demonstrations, overviews, how-tos, and best practices for Tableau dashboard creation and maintenance

The Contractor Team shall comply with the Sponsor’s Assessments and Authorization (A&A) process

The Contractor Team shall address A&A auditing requirements

The Contractor Team shall provide required A&A technical system documentation through the accreditation process

The Contractor Team shall work with the Sponsor to develop, implement, and maintain a strategy for appropriately handling security sensitive applications

The Contractor Team shall have knowledge and an understanding of the full software development lifecycle

The Contactor Team shall understand Dev-Ops principles

The Contractor Team shall understand Agile methodologies

The contractor Team shall implement commercial and Sponsor best practices for software development and documentation 

The Contractor Team shall have the following required skills and demonstrated experience:

  • Demonstrated experience with Tableau Desktop, Server, Prep/Conductor, and other Tableau add-ons
  • Demonstrated experience with standup and maintenance of enterprise capabilities and infrastructure

<>·Demonstrated experience with enabling Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery

<>·Demonstrated experience with the Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similar cloud based systems

  • Demonstrated experience utilizing the AWS Command Line Interface (CLI)
  • Demonstrated experience using SQL and RDBMS Systems to include Amazon RDS
  • Demonstrated experience with Linux system configuration
  • Demonstrated experience using Linux CentOS
  • Demonstrated experience with network configuration
  • Demonstrated experience configuring systems/service for access control
  • Demonstrated experience configuring systems/services to utilize Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
  • Demonstrated experience with Bash scripting for system administration purposes
  • Demonstrated experience in Information Security, and Assessment & Accreditation of systems at varying classification levels

<>·Demonstrated experience with full software development lifecycle, including development, deployment, testing, and monitoring

  • Demonstrated experience with full lifecycle product management
  • Demonstrated experience providing end user and mission partner support
  • Demonstrated experience providing product demonstrations and training sessions
  • Demonstrated experience defining software requirements
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience programming with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Demonstrated experience using Java, Python and Ruby
  • Demonstrated experience using NoSQL, SQL, excel, CSV, Spark, JIRA, and ServiceNow Databases
  • Demonstrated experience using Tableau data connectors to link to designated data sources to create dashboards
  • Demonstrated experience using Jira, Confluence and Github

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience.
