HOW BEING A CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPPORT SPECIALIST MAKE AN IMPACT?

The Sponsor’s office delivers critical needs at a fast pace to all of their incumbents and partners. The Sponsor is looking for a team of experienced resources to plan, provide IT Asset management support, and COMSEC custodian support.  The team comprises a team of four contractors and one working team lead. The Contractor is required to travel to various Sponsor’s site(s) to conduct asset management functions on Sponsor’s and missions partners IT equipment and to provide encrypted secure devices support when needed. 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
  • Required Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience preparing and generating asset management reports.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and enforcing process changes and improvements.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating transactions for IT assets between mission partners and accounts.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing physical inventories of IT assets and conducting IT inventories for decommissions.
  • Demonstrated experience with IT service delivery tools.
  • Demonstrated experience performing secure communications Custodian activities and tasks to include but not limited to: Ordering, issuance, and destruction of encrypted secure device key material, Rekeying encrypted secure device(s) when requirement arises, Tracking, inventory, accounting, auditing, and reporting of encrypted secure devices, Submitting timely acknowledgements of receipt for received encrypted secure devices, Inspecting all incoming accountable encrypted secure devices pouches for evidence of tampering, and Executing operational procedures and security procedures requires of encrypted secure device custodian
  • Demonstrated experience with organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph

Preferred Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience with Sponsor’s IT service delivery tools.
  • Demonstrated experience with IT service delivery processes.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a team environment and with all levels of management.
  • Demonstrated experience with IT Services Management (ITSM) best practices and ITIL framework.
