Our work depends on a Cloud Services Enterprise Manager (CSEM) joining our team on a large effort supporting a government client at Annapolis Junction, MD.
GDIT is seeking an experienced self-directed manger that has strong operational, organizational, collaboration, and strategic/analytical experience. This effort will culminate in an abstracted, highly transportable environment delivered to the Government, to be instantiated “virtually” on the Government’s network infrastructure. To ensure Cloud operations is optimized to the fullest extent, the CSEM will be expected to leverage deep knowledge of cloud operations best practices and work closely with all operational partners and vendors to deliver an ‘above and beyond’ service to the Government customer. The role will be utilized as a trusted agent for both the customer leadership and GDIT.
For this effort, GDIT will use cloud based concepts to migrate and support the Government’s critical business applications by using customer-centric and ITIL-aligned service delivery models. The application of these concepts will result in a framework for integrating commercial off-the-shelf, non-proprietary technologies to avoid “vendor-lock”. Seeking a SCOM that can lead the team and manage the overall strategy and the Operations & Management of GDIT’s Cloud MSP while staying highly collaborative and involved with the customer’s surging requirements.
At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Cloud Services Enterprise Manager (CSEM) you will be trusted to work on GDIT’s Cloud MSP . In this role, a typical day will include:
Developing the Unclassified work area
Recruiting a new cloud services team
Supporting Digital Services Operations – especially in the area of Customer Facing Services
Support the any cloud proposal documentation
Responsible for managing vendor professional services
Support other projects moving forward (Skies and M365) from a Digital Services perspective
Lead the Cloud Lab Test for WVD
Supporting cross function matrix management of Digital services projects and staffing
Required Technical Skills:
Experience/knowledge of cloud platforms and technologies
Experience/knowledge with multi cloud and/or Enterprise-level environments
Experience with ServiceNow
Experience/knowledge with Application Management Services; Automation and DevSecOps; Cyber Security Operations; Risk/Compliance, and Optimization/Transparency
Experience with SLAs & KPI/Metrics
Experience with large complex programs (preferably Enterprise level) providing services
Desired Skills:
Experience working in Agile teams
Excellent written and verbal communication
Detail oriented with experience leading an engineering team
Engineering project development and reporting
Capability to develop network and equipment operating procedures
Ability to develop new revenue generating solutions
Responsible for evaluating, developing and planning future technology advancement
Service Improvement planning
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years’ experience in Information Technology or equivalent combination of experience and education
Security+ or Azure Certifications preferred
Up to 10% travel may be required
Full-Time 40Wk/On-call
