GDIT is looking for a QA/Test Engineer to support our Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals (OMHA) customer.
THIS IS A REMOTE BASED ROLE. Candidate must reside in the US
In this role, a typical day will include:
Develop automated tests and test scripts using jMeter software
Design and develop test and testing requirements for products, systems, software and/or related technology moderate supervision
Conduct quality assurance and design performance tests using established testing procedures
Write, implement, and report status for system test cases
Analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports
Troubleshoot testing errors and streamline testing procedures
Ensure testing methodology and procedures meet company and industry standards
Serve as subject matter specialist providing testing recommendations for the support of complex application requirements
What you will need:
BA/BS with 2+ years’ experience; In lieu of a degree, candidates with 10 or more years of relevant experience will be considered
Experience in automated testing/Selenium
Experience in a fast-paced agile software development environment
Ability to juggle tasks well and wear multiple hats
Work visa sponsorship will not be provided for this position
The likely salary range for this position is $64,000 - $96,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
