GDIT is seeking a CDC IMS Coordinator to support the CDC Incident Management System (IMS).
Mission/ Role Description: IMS Coordinators are assigned to IMS leadership teams with the responsibility to coordinate, organize and manage team activities as well as communications. The coordinator may serve as a liaison between IMS teams to internal and external partners of CDC. He/she is responsible for a variety of critical tasks to assure the operational needs of a team to include the following: staffing, task management, documentation, coordinating guidance of documents in clearance, travel and reporting requirements. In some cases, coordinators may be responsible for coordinating and communicating sensitive information with several IMS teams.
Special skills required: Possess the skill to seamlessly operate in a stressful environment with the ability to be proactive, able to directly coordinate with a diverse set of stakeholders and be a self-starter. Be able to operate effectively in both a team room and remotely in accordance with guidance provided. Additional skills:
