GDIT is in need of a VoIP Engineer to support our Enterprise Mission Information Technology Services (EMITS) program in Wiesbaden, Germany. EMITS deliver enterprise information technology, communications and mission command support services to USAREUR headquarters.
The VoIP Engineer needs to understand the STIG process and have the ability to patch the different components. Additionally, they need have the ability to download needed STIG viewer and the different STIGs that apply to the UC environment.
The VoIP Engineer is responsible for registering and troubleshooting endpoints, VTC devices, and Jabber clients. They will also be responsible for configuring and troubleshooting trunks as well as dial plans, route patterns, and translations.
Qualifications:
Secret Level Security Clearance
Candidate must be able to meet German TESA requirements.
Candidate must possess DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification on Day 1.
Candidate must obtain ITIL Foundation certification within 90 days of hire.
Candidate must have CCNA, preference for candidates with CCNP Collaboration, CCNP Enterprise, CCIE Enterprise (Infrastructure or Wireless), or CCIE Collaboration.
The VoIP Engineer needs to be familiar with Cisco Call Manager
How to register and troubleshoot endpoints, VTC devices, and Jabber clients
How to configure and troubleshoot trunks
Dial plans, route patterns, and translations
Additionally, the VoIP Engineer will be required to have understanding of:
Cisco Expressway C and E
Cisco Meeting Server
Cisco Session Border Controller
Cisco Call Manager Express
Cisco Instant Message and Presence
