HOW THE COMPUTER SYSTEMS ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Provides installation, maintenance and troubleshooting support of information systems applications and related peripheral hardware. Ensure all Army Reserve-Network (AR-NET), MC4 application and administrative computer equipment is on hand, serviceable and fully operational. Ensure systems are configured to user requirements, operating systems are upgraded, input is provided for documentation on new and existing systems, testing is performed, operating/hardware system problems are diagnosed and resolved, and that all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access. Provide technical assistance in support of information systems and their associated software and hardware components. Provide over-the-shoulder support and training during culminating training events.
Monitors and responds to hardware and software problems utilizing a variety of hardware and software testing tools and techniques. Installs and configures applications software and related hardware (such as desktops, servers, and related peripherals like printers, scanners, drives, monitors and video teleconferencing hardware). Provides software and system troubleshooting and support. Provides technical support and training to end-users. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned. Participates in special projects as required.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Required Experience: 1-3 years of directly related experience supporting information systems operations
Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in information system troubleshooting and support.
Two years of experience with MC-4 information management systems, Microsoft Windows-based programs, network management and maintenance.
Knowledge of related hardware and software. Must be able to perform hardware and software upgrades on GF information management systems.
Education: Associate degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
Certifications: IAT Level Certification Compliant IAW DODD 8570.01M. CompTIA Security +CE Certification
Clearance: Active Secret security clearance
Unique/Additional Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license. Effective communications skills. Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Active Secret security clearance.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $28.85 - $43.27, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
