At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an Administrative Assistant III a typical day will include:
Assisting this office in overseeing all day-to-day administrative duties
Processing all test requests and scheduling all foreign language proficiency tests for Sponsor employees
Managing the schedules to accommodate a myriad of unique needs, including tight timelines, mission requirements, disabilities, etc.
Coordinating schedules with the teams of testers
Planning, organizing, and decision making to fulfill work requirements
Juggling multiple other tasks and responsibilities at the same time, while also responding to immediate customer inquiries
Responsible for developing a mastery of office business processes including the material digitalization, learning management system, and metrics tracking systems
Taking the lead in processing various administrative requirements as they pertain to testing and will train other AAs
Briefing examinees on-the testing procedures prior to testing and ensure examinees are prepared to test
Serve as the primary contact for testing candidates and will be the administrative face of the office
Maintaining accurate records of tests, facilitating test certification, and preparing spaces and materials required for daily testing
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
HS Diploma and 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
TS/SCI with Polygraph
Available to work during core hours Monday to Friday 07:30am to 4:30pm, some flexibility allowed
Proficient Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Able to perform duties with minimal supervision and some team interaction
Must possess excellent time management skills, superior communication skills, and the ability to make quick decisions on the spot
Extensive knowledge of administrative processes and procedures in the Sponsor community, as well as specific Sponsor guidance on foreign language testing
Must have strong interpersonal skill and demonstrate assertiveness and prioritization skills to manage competing demands
