Job Description

Network Architect - TS/SCI Clearance - Wiesbaden, Germany

The Network Architect is responsible for the project planning, design, and development of the customer’s emerging IT environment in support of our DoD customer located throughout the European Theater.

The Network Architect is responsible for the successful completion of all project tasks, deliverables, and assist the customer with procurement activities.

The Network Architect / Project Manager will design, plan the installation and implementation of on-going IT Fit-outs, plan and execute expansion and support to exercise network systems, and facilitate coordination with all applicable stakeholders.

Provides oversight and supervision for a team of 10-20 contractors and subcontractors and their assigned deliverables.  Must be able to provide GO/Executive level briefs, translating technical solutions into operational mission and update briefings.  The PM must be able to extract pertinent weekly status updates from the team and ensure this is included in weekly updates.

The Network Architect will maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, and upgrade existing network components as required. They will also be tasked with the configuration and support internal and external networks and firewalls. They will troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues. The contractor shall work with SME’s to resolve complex system issues, and train users on new hardware and software.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI and IAT Level II Certification is required at start.

  • CCNP or higher and a PMP are desired.

  • Bachelor's degree and 10-20 years or more years of related information technology experience is preferred.

  • Candidate must be able to obtain a German TESA/SOFA approval.
