Job Description: General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Java Developer to join our Army Installation Support Modules (ISM) Project. This Java Developer researches, designs, develops, tests, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software. The ideal candidate will be able to research, design, develop, modify, document, test, debug and maintain functionalities for the Army Human Resources Systems (AHRS) software application.
Required: Active Secret Clearance
Education/Training/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
Overall 8+ years of experience with Java development in a working environment
Server Pages (JSP), Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB), HTML, XML, XHTML, CSS, etc.
Creating and editing PDFs with Adobe Experience Manager – Forms Designer (Need experience with Adobe forms in converting the current Adobe XFA format forms into an Adobe forms format that will display the forms properly, allow the user to fill out the forms, digitally sign them and print them using MS Edge browser.)
Adobe LiveCycle Designer
Experience correcting software deficiencies and developing new capabilities
Database experience with SQL, ideally PL/SQL
Great communication skills
Versioning and revision control system, ideally Apache Subversion
The likely salary range for this position is $88,000 - $132,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
