General Dynamics Information Technology Federal Civilian Division is currently looking for a Quality Analyst Advisor to join our team in support of the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) at their Headquarters in Falls Church VA. The advisory support includes the following tasks:
Provide written consultation regarding BUMED instructions to ensure clinical and administrative activities comply with quality assurance and risk management standards.
Provide written consultation to BUMED regarding instructions, effects of DoD and DHA issuances, and Memoranda of Agreement/Understanding on Navy Medicine operations,
Consult with global healthcare facilities on patient safety and risk management topics including a culture of patient safety, utilizing TapRoot, and TeamSTEPPS tools.
Track and analyze adverse events from Navy inpatient and outpatient Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs).
Conducts statistical analyses and prepares summaries and graphs of adverse event data.
Records and tracks The Joint Commission 18-month FMEA projects for Navy MTFs.
Works with MTFs on a variety of patient safety and risk management topics including a culture of patient safety, TapRoot, and TeamSTEPPS.
Advise on topics including HRO, education and training and patient-centered care.
Prepare reports and ensure format compliance.
Participates in special projects as required
Master's Degree in a related field. Juris Doctorate, preferred.
8+ years in related experience
Excellent oral and written communications skills required.
Must be a U.S. citizen and obtain/have a NACLC (T3)
