GDIT is looking for a strategic marketing professional to join the growing GDIT corporate marketing team. As a Marketing Campaign Manager supporting the Defense market for GDIT, you will oversee and execute the strategic and tactical development, delivery and measurement of priority campaigns for GDIT with a particular emphasis on defense cloud initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with a creative marketing team, technical subject matter experts, alliance partners and the wider Growth organization to create best-in-class marketing programs. *This role does not include managing people, but manages a function.*

This is an exciting opportunity to support the go-to-market strategy and the day-to-day marketing direction for key business campaigns. The candidate will oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that help position the business for success. This includes maintaining close working relationships with Growth/Business Development directors and program leadership to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with business activities.

*Please note that this role is on-site in our Fairview Park, Falls Church location; there are flexible work arrangements.*

  • Creating strategic and measurable go-to-market plans that align to overarching growth and brand goals
  • Building close relationships with defense sector subject matter experts, business development/growth and operational teams
  • Consulting with brand marketing/PR agencies and media partners
  • Owning integrated marketing campaigns
  • Collaborating with GDIT’s extensive technology partner ecosystem to identify co-marketing opportunities
  • Act as an ambassador for the marketing team, demonstrating the value of strategic marketing initiatives
  • Working effectively within a large matrixed organization

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
  • 2+ years of combined marketing, corporate communications, brand management, and/or public relations agency experience OR 6 years related experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience in cross-channel marketing communications (PR, events, digital and social media)
  • Strong and highly effective writing and public speaking skills and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of US Federal Government IT industry services, systems, and products marketplace and related media
