  • Oversees tasking requirements, evaluates current logistics AIS operations and instructs subordinates. 

    Develops, analyzes, and conducts operational research and audits.

    Reviews AIS software packages, source documents, and establish policies to determine format- and-design requirements.  

    Prepares follow-up reports evaluating effectiveness of system implementations. 

    Determines topics, target audiences, and resources necessary to develop and present Naval logistics courses.

    Applies expert knowledge towards the efficiency and effectiveness of supplier audits, assessments and evaluations to ensure conformance to clients quality, cost and delivery performance standards.

    Applies expert knowledge to demand forecasting, distribution planning, supply chain modeling and design.

    Utilizes expert knowledge to provide critical solutions to supplier quality issues and provides appropriate support for desired supplier capability.

    Applies expert knowledge to identify and find effective solutions for process improvements, inventory reductions, and cost savings.

    May serve as team or task lead.

    Recognized as a subject matter expert in logistics.

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    - BA/BS in Business Administration, Management, or related business discipline.

    - Eight or more (8+) years of experience in a combination of Navy logistics and Navy logistics AISs management.
