GDIT is currently looking to hire a UX/HF Designer for a Defense Threat Reduction Agency Data Science Program. the Program Manager performs day-to-day management of data science teams involved in designing, developing, integrating, training, testing, documenting, implementing, and maintaining complex systems. Organizes, directs, and coordinates planning, and production of all activities associated with the PWS.

Designs, develops, evaluates, plans and tests engineering specifications for software programs and applications. Develops and applies moderately advanced methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced software applications and problems. Develops complex documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code. Exercise independent judgement in the preparation and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming. Performs advance modeling, simulation and analysis. Designs and develops basic compilers, assemblers, utility programs and operating systems with  extensive independent judgement. Using advanced knowledge, develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle. Develops documentation for new or existing programs. Applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

GDIT is seeking junior, mid and senior candidates.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 2+ years of experience (junior)

  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience (mid)

  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 8+ years of experience (senior)

  • Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI
