The candidate will provide technical and architectural guidance supporting all IT Operations in an Agile environment. Candidate will be responsible for supporting our Architecture Review Board (ARB), evaluating continuous service improvement items, including new tools, technologies, assessing the design and potential impact to our existing applications and infrastructure.
Key contributor in designing, creating, maintaining, and supporting existing and future applications, infrastructure, and roadmaps. Will also function as the primary technical liaison between all teams on the program to facilitate technical discussions with vendors, partners, and our customer.
Supporting an Architecture Review Board (ARB) inclusive of multiple internal teams, which lead to discussions and presentations to our customer.
Leading discussions and collaboration of technical topics across teams and across products.
Contributing to the analysis of technical issues to provide resolution to our customer
Developing technology roadmaps
Evaluating technology, market trends to assess prospective impact to our applications and infrastructure
Supporting the development of technical requirements, designs, SOPs, project plans and presentations.
Advising on the selection of technology purchases
Performing research on emerging technologies to support proof-of-concept (POC) capabilities and identify future solutions for the organization
Evaluating Oracle technologies and applications, including Oracle Federal Financials R12, Hyperion, Identity Management, and OBIEE
Required Qualifications and Skills
10+ years in a Solution Architect role on an Oracle ERP Program, preferably a government program
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Experience performing a variety of engineering and operational related assignments in an Oracle application and infrastructure environment (Exadata & Exalytics)
Familiarity with Agile processes
Ability to utilize discretion and independent judgment to switch between priorities quickly without affecting quality or performance
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Experience with project management and/or practicing Agile
Advance-level knowledge of Oracle technologies
Ability to clearly and succinctly present complex technical solutions to technical and non-technical team members and to our stakeholders/customers
Experience developing technical presentations which include architectural diagrams and graphics.
Experience writing and presenting business case and white papers, including experience developing Basis of Estimates and budgetary estimates.
Familiarity with the Oracle Cloud Interface (OCI)
The likely salary range for this position is $152,000 - $228,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
