And our work depends on TS/SCI level cleared Systems Security Accreditation (SSA) Manager  joining our team to support our Intelligence customer in Springfield, VA.

The System Security Accreditation Manager is responsible for satisfying security requirements and maintaining operational excellence for enterprise-wide classified and unclassified information systems (IS).  The manager will oversee and execute an system security approach that exceeds customer expectations and minimizes security risks.  The manager will also apply comprehensive knowledge of information technology security principles, practices and procedures to develop, implement, and manage the overall system security. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree Engineering, Computer Science, IT related or security related discipline
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • 5+ years of management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience leading various teams in a scaled agile environment utilizing a modern DevOps approach to deliver value to the customer
  • Experience working with stakeholders, suppliers, solution train
  • Refines and optimizes systems specification in the solution intent
  • Self-managed, strong self-organization skills, and eager to contribute
  • Eager to explore new technologies, and develop new skills to advance your team
  • Challenges the status quo, hungry to explore, evaluate, and understand new technologies, and wish to share insights and mentor your team
  • Experience working with federal government clients, subcontractors and stakeholders
  • Assists in identifying the needs of internal and external customers and addresses their concerns
  • Performs duties with opportunity to exercise initiative, independent judgement and discretion under minimal supervision.
  • Responsible to obtain ATT and ATO
  • Provides management oversight:
    • Ensures team is working cross functionally with scrum teams to support deployments and system enhancements to deliver end-to-end mission solutions and maintain the integrity of the system-of-system enterprise
    • Communicate daily regarding progress with team members
    • Recruits and develops the technical talent required to support a complex enterprise environment in support of the mission.
    • Proactively work with program management team to ensure that appropriate staffing resources are assigned, put in place, and effectively utilized at the appropriate time.
    • Oversees the integration of new solutions and enhancement efforts, and coordinates cross functionally
    • Creating and maintaining the Systems Security Plan (SSP)
    • Ensures all necessary Assessments and Authorizations (A&A) are in accordance with the Security Plan
    • Ensures software is certifiable and accredited with ICD 503
    • Provides system security process support
    • Supports reaccreditation
    • Ensures compliance with DISA STIGs
    • Ensures security classification and markings are available
    • Ensures compliance with NISPOM
    • Ensures facility accreditation in accordance with ICD 705
    • Ensures unclassified and classified work adheres to security requirements
    • Ensures information is handled in compliance with policies and regulations
  • Provides technical oversight:
    • Aligns technology approaches across the ART
    • Functions as a technical expert who provides management and leadership in the security systems engineering and integration of technology-enabled applications, products and services within a technical environment
    • Act as a point of technical escalation and resolution during the lifecycle as it relates to technical decisions
    • Provide technical consultancy to department staff and participate in business development efforts including proposals, development plans, and presentations, as directed.
    • Ensures an intentional design is implemented which supports development, delivery and deployment of capabilities into operations on multiple environments
    • Ensures technical debt is minimized  
  • Engages in concept planning:
    • Establishes architectural runway and roadmap of system enhancements with Solution Architects
    • Establishes architectural guidelines for solution design, performance, and usability with Solution Architects
    • Provide input into the design, re-design and development of solutions and applications.
    • Assist with designing and evaluating new features and capabilities
  • Experience with AWS services
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Poly
