GDIT is seeking a candidate for the position of Principal Image Engineer, on a TSA contract which requires the following:
Applicants must be U.S. citizen and possess an active Public Trust Clearance; higher level clearance is preferred.
Serves as the engineering expert for imaging technology operations and capture. May load and unload scan items (up to 50 lbs. per item), operate, and maintain imaging technology and store, manipulate, process for mass dissemination (i.e. convert machine version to popular format – .jpeg or .bmp), test and catalog corresponding system images. Fully understand file structures and image manipulation for TSE. Able to operate in Unix, Linux, dos, or windows operating environment. Competent in writing XML or other proprietary command languages used within TSE.
10 years of experience with imaging technology usage and maintenance (Preferred experience with Rapiscan 3D20, Rapiscan 500 series, Smiths-Heimann 6040 aTix series, L3 6000, and GE CTX 5500, 9000, 9400, 9800 series).
Masters degree substitutes for 2 years of experience, therefore Master’s degree and 8 years of experience required as an alternative.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: B.S. degree in related discipline, 4 years of
experience shall substitute for B.S.
