Software Developer (secret)

Job Description

General Dynamics Information Technology is looking for Software Developers who hold active DOD Secret clearance.

The Air Carrier Analysis Support System (ACAS) supports the safety oversight of commercial air carriers currently engaged or desiring business with the DOD. ACAS provides an integrated operational analysis capability for safety analysis of accidents and incidents, operations, maintenance, financial analysis, and service quality information for both domestic and foreign commercial air carriers supporting DOD. 

• Assists with all phases of the software development lifecycle.

• Assists with analyzing user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needs.

• Assists with creating a variety of models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an application.

• Performs software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging.

• Prepares reports on software project specifications, activities, or status.

• Assists with the documentation of software or system for future maintenance and updates.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 2+ years of experience

• Significant programming experience with Spring Framework/Java

• Web Services development experience

• Angular or similar UI development experience

• Agile development methodology

DESIRED:

• Cloud-based applications

• REST

• Experience working in CI/CD pipeline environment

• Maven/Gradle - technologies with Java

• Jenkins/Fortify/GIT

• Junit Testing/Mockito

• Behavior driven development

• Jira
