Technical Requirements

  • Plan, design, develop, test, and deploy IT solutions within the Sponsor’s mission.
  • Research and analyze vendor products, such as COTS and GOTS components, to determine the feasibility of the design or application applied within the Sponsor’s mission.
  • Perform desktop, server, and network hardware and software installations, maintenance, and upgrades within the Sponsor’s mission.
  • Provide asset management for software licenses and hardware inventory, within the Sponsor’s mission.
  • Perform Accreditation and Authorization (A&A) duties in relation to scanning, preparing the necessary documentation, and performing and engineering mitigations for security findings within the Sponsor’s mission.
  • Develop and derive system requirements, system designs, product prototyping and proof of concept.
  • Support system integration and implementation.
  • Perform testing and validation for infrastructure components, applications, and end-to-end systems within the Sponsor’s mission.

Required skills and demonstrated experience

The candidate shall have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience:

  • Demonstrated experience supporting Microsoft Server 2021/2016, System Center 2012/2016, Windows 10, Domino 9, and Splunk.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Cisco networking and encryption, network architecture, AWS architecture, and system design.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Nutanix hardware, HP server and workstation hardware.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of ICD 503 and 705.

Highly Desired skills and demonstrated experience

Other skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:

  • Demonstrated experience planning, designing, developing, testing, and deploying IT solutions within the Sponsor’s mission areas.
  • Demonstrated experience providing asset management for hardware inventory or software licenses.
  • Demonstrated experience researching or analyzing vendor products to determine the feasibility of design or implementation on networks.
  • Demonstrated experience performing testing and validation for infrastructure components, applications, and end-to-end systems within the Sponsor’s mission areas.
