And our work depends on a ServiceNow Engineer joining our team to support Technical Support Services (TSS) for the United States Postal Service (USPS) activities located in Raleigh (NC), Eagan (MN), or Washington (DC).
USPS requires a ServiceNow Operation and Maintenance Support in the form of a deep understanding of the ServiceNow Platform, architecture, data, and process flows in order to ensure functionality and usability are aligned with the organization’s priorities, enabling delivery teams to do their work effectively.

Tests continuous improvement ideas to reduce expenses and/or improve efficiency.
Follows and recommends IT standards (e.g., info security, audit, compliance, etc.).
Assesses the technical viability of new and existing solutions and capabilities.
Contributes to technical documentation, specifications, and project artifacts to deliver mature monitoring, improved resiliency, and high availability.
Diagnosing and resolve application issues to ensure optimal performance and usability and providing root cause analysis with recommendations for improvements
Performing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly operations tasks required for the ongoing functionality of the platform
BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 10+ years of experience
Three or more years direct experience administering or developing on an enterprise class ServiceNow platform with a deep understanding of ServiceNow best practices.
Four or more years direct experience in an increasingly complex enterprise information technology environment with emphasis on IT Service Management.
Familiar with ITIL framework.
Experience configuring workflows
Self-Starter with strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills with exemplary communication ability, both written and verbal
Certification as a ServiceNow System Administrator or Developer
Experience with front end web technologies
Experience with HTML
Experience with other workflow tools
Experience integrating with other systems
