Specifically, we’re looking for a Sr. Manager, Internal Mobility to lead the strategic partnership between employees, recruiting, and the business. You will develop and deliver an enterprise-wide talent mobility strategy that turns jobs into careers and brings out the best in every GDITer. You will innovate and drive process changes through trust and transparency with leaders by providing the critical feedback necessary to grow our business.
As the Sr. Manager, Internal Mobility, you will be responsible for leading a passionate team of Internal Mobility Partners to reimagine the talent mobility strategy while driving excellence in program execution. You will be responsible for ensuring strategies are aligned to the business objectives and GDIT's imperatives with a customer-centric focus on the employee experience. Finally, you will play an instrumental role in assisting with the transformation of the GDIT recruiting and mobility function.
A day in the life:
Deliver all aspects of program ownership including stakeholder consultation, policy development, process building, communication and change management.
Provide a high-level consultative approach with executive leaders and key business stakeholders regarding strategy, infrastructure development, and goal attainment.
Understand the intricacies of the business environment and program dynamics by building and maintaining relationship with Program Managers, Talent Acquisition leaders, HR Business Partners and other key stakeholders.
Develop innovative strategies using research in the latest trends on talent mobility to provide recommendations to management on program optimization and integration of trends into daily practice.
Actively manage Key Performance Indicators by developing and analyzing key metrics to ensure the goals are met and/or exceeded.
Provide on-going coaching to your team to ensure they are supported in their professional development to include providing opportunities for continuous learning on current trends and industry knowledge.
Current Talent Acquisition, Internal Mobility, or Resource Management experience of 12 years; at least 5 years managing a mobility, resource management, or recruiting team in a large-scale government contracting environment
Bachelor's Degree +12 years related experience OR in lieu of Bachelor's Degree, 16 years of related experience
Thought-Leader with creative solutions to make immediate impact
Subject Matter Expertise in using traditional, social media and other niche sourcing tools
Knowledge and past use of a web-based applicant tracking systems, talent engagement, and relevant compliance standards
Motivated self-starter; results-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to be organized and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, rapidly-changing environment
Ability to provide reporting and analytics on staffing status and provide analytic updates to management and customers
Proficiency using MS Office with advanced skills in Excel and Power Point
Willingness to work out of our Falls Church headquarters in Fairview Park (once COVID restrictions are lifted for return-to-work)
