GDIT is seeking qualified candidates for Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support (MTCCS) program. GDIT delivers individual sustainment through collective Mission Command training, Leadership Training / Development, Warfighter Functions (WFF) training, Delta Training, First Person Simulations (Gaming), and constructive simulations supported training. Technical integration between simulation and C4I systems. Establish /maintain training and exercise networks. Accomplish Risk Management Framework Certification and Accreditation security and risk management activities.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides installation, maintenance and troubleshooting support of information systems applications and related peripheral hardware.
Monitors and responds to hardware and software problems utilizing a variety of hardware and software testing tools and techniques.
Installs and configures applications software and related hardware (such as desktops, servers, and related peripherals like printers, scanners, drives, monitors and video teleconferencing hardware).
Provides software and system troubleshooting and support.
Provides technical support and training to end-users.
Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced technicians, and may have limited supervisory responsibilities.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
Participates in special projects as required.
Responsible for maintaining of services and security posture for enterprise-level hardware, technologies, and applications.
Desirable Skills / Experience:
Must be capable of receiving, fully-implementing, security hardening, and maintaining systems and applications in accordance with US Department of Defense guidelines.
Required areas of technological expertise include: Windows Server, Windows 10, and Active Directory.
Desired experience with the following technologies include: Linux, Microsoft SQL Server, Cisco Call Manager, Host-Based Security System (HBSS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Windows Server Update Service, Microsoft Hyper-V, and VMware.
Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in information system troubleshooting and support.
Comprehensive knowledge of related hardware and software.
AA/AS degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training or work experience.
3-5 years experience minimum preferred 5-8 years experience.
Candidate must have or be able to obtain a certificate or certification meeting evolving computing environment requirements additional Professional Certification(s) and certificates may be required, depending on job assignment.
Secret clearance required
