Senior Systems Administrator

Augusta, GA

TS/SCI is required

General Dynamics has a Systems Administrator position open for immediate placement.

Person hired for this role will identify and analyze server requirements. May be involved in the planning the design and deployment of new technologies and upgrades.

Should have experience maintaining and troubleshooting, supporting and managing servers in a production environment.

Also requires experience in the installation and maintenance of Virtual Environment VMWARE (this role will comprise of overseeing VMWare within four networks).

Additionally following are some of the typical tasks performed:

Maintain VDI functionality

Assisted in TTC and TGS integration

Integrated and maintained for OGS workstations

Maintain AD for SIPR/JWICS/ CXI and NSA provided service/maintenance for user accounts.

Assist with Host malfunctions on applications running in the system as necessary
VCloud, Blade Logic, Splunk.

Coordinate actions with site S6 personnel.

Maintain License managers for the systems

Support IA effort with technical solutions and documentation.  Support with SCAN’s, STIG and compliance issues.

Troubleshooting a TTC connection of a remote Thin Client

TTC log file offload (running the script step by step as in the manual)

Monitor Vcenter and ensure is maintained and kept fully operational

Work with the 116th MI BDE IEW to support IT systems as needed.

Check on the syslog KIWI server space utilization and run cleanup as necessary after verifying a good backup has been completed.

Work with the IA section as necessary if there appears to be anything abnormal in the log files on the systems

Coordinate necessary IT actions with site S6 personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

Familiarity with Socket GXP, Envi, Qt Modelor, MOVINT  

BS degreed

12 years experience

8570 IAT level 2 certification (SEC+CE, SSCP, etc)

AND

One Computing Environment (CE) Certification preferably VCP).

Must be willing to work shift work. (Days, Mids and Nights)

Requires Top Secret clearance with SCI level access

Must be capable/willing to sit for CI Poly
