The Key Site Lead and Lead Systems Engineer will provide on-site management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership of the execution of engineering and service delivery of the multiple complex C2 and CDS solutions for our Germany-based Army customer. The Site Lead designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems. Coordinates system development to include design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testing

The Key Site Lead will be proficient in C2 Enterprise Architect and C2 concepts, processes, and procedures and will be required to have current PMP and IAT III certifications upon hire.

Additional Job Duties

  • The site lead and lead systems engineer will guide the successful completion of major engineering programs and function in a project leadership role.

  • Develops advanced solutions to a variety of highly complex engineering problems

  • Perform advanced systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end

  • Provides and applies advanced engineering to highly complex infrastructures including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools

  • Provides and applies advanced engineering skills to highly complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysis

  • Performs continual maintenance and provides advanced solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problems

  • Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects

  • Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology, always on the lookout for new technologies, and works with management to evolve current processes

  • Performs complex systems development and design work that may include logic design, I/O design, model formulation, computer architecture analysis and design, and digital systems engineering

  • Invents innovative ways to drive production operational efficiency

  • Drives scalability and operability of supported systems/infrastructure

  • Implements, manages, and enhances Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline tools

  • Creates, maintains, and reviews Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Desired State Configuration (DSC) and/or Puppet configuration management tools to support the provisioning infrastructure

  • Provides system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance

  • Will coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance

  • BA/BS or equivalent, 10+ years of experience along with the a current, valid Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

  • 8570/8140M – IAT III certification

  • It is required that the selected candidate posses the following qualifications:

  • Experience leading complex mission command engineering efforts

  • Experience supporting CDS solutions in a multi-domain environment
