GDIT has an opportunity for a Business Manager to support Microsoft activities at Annapolis Junction, MD. GDIT is partnered with Microsoft to provide end to end Data Center IT (DCIT) support services to include data center hardware break/fix/move/add/change, data center staging and deployment, and logistics/asset management support. In addition, GDIT is supporting Microsoft’s Government Cloud Collaboration Center (GC3) by providing end to end operational support for the Azure Core and Office 365 platform. Operational support is across various product groups including Azure, Active Directory (AD), and Office 365. GDIT will help deliver data center uptime and availability by employing highly skilled resources experienced in all aspects of critical 24x7x365 data center support services for a U.S Government customer.
This position is assigned to the GDIT Program Management Office providing operational support for the overarching MOSA program supporting the resource management and program management functions. The resource management activities are the central point of contact for all personnel activities related to onboarding and out-processing, ensuring all process steps are completed thoroughly and in a timely manner. The individual will also provide operational support to the PMO Manager and be able to perform duties as directed by the PMO Manager. In this role, a typical day will include:
Coordinate with the PMs and the Talent Acquisition Specialists to submit offers to candidates.
Collaborate with Security, Program Control, and operational elements to execute all on-boarding activities required prior to employee start date.
Coordinate with PMs for out-processing activities.
Collaborate with GDIT subcontractors for onboarding/out-processing subcontractor personnel.
Coordinate, process, and maintain documentation required to onboard/out-process each resource.
Ensure compliance to processes, procedures, work instructions, and forms in executing work activities.
Maintaining master databases/spreadsheets for tracking and monitoring all onboarding/out-processing activities.
Coordinate with operational staff in researching information and supporting data for the compilation and preparation of special briefings, program reviews, and ad hoc reports.
Supporting the PMO Manager in monitoring activities related to organizing, tracking, and analyzing business requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Bachelors Degree in a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, certifications, training, or work experience.
5+ years of relevant work experience in program/business management
Top Secret/SCI + Polygraph
Excellent MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desire to look for ways to improve existing team processes
Strong email communication with the ability to respond promptly and professionally
Ability to build a strong relationships with internal and external team members and Customers
