Job Description

GDIT is looking for a Program, Sr Director to provide management, direction, administration, quality management, and leadership to execute an 800M program supporting US Army Special Operations Command at Ft. Bragg, NC.  This Command is responsible for conducting worldwide special operations missions (e.g., counterinsurgency, counterterrorism rations, security force assistance, unconventional warfare, information operations, direct action, special reconnaissance, civil affairs, and foreign internal defense) in dynamic and ambiguous high-risk environments to address threats from hostile states, violent extremist organizations, other non-state entities, and individual actors increasingly willing to use violence to achieve their political and ideological ends.  Specifically this effort is in support of training, equipping, educating, organizing and sustaining forces to conduct special operations across the full range of military operations and spectrum of conflict in support of joint force commanders and interagency partners, to meet theater and national objectives.  In this position, you will provide overall leadership and guidance for all contractor personnel assigned to the task order, including assigning tasks to contractor personnel, supervising ongoing technical efforts, and managing overall task order performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for the quality and efficiency of the task order, including both technical issues and businesses processes; possess ultimate authority to commit the contractor’s organization and make decisions for the contractor’s organization in response to Government issues, concerns, and comments, as well as be proactive in alerting the Government to potential task order or programmatic issues and resource limitations issues. To fulfill this position, you will need to reside in proximity (e.g., 15 miles or within a reasonable commute) of USASOC Headquarters, located at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, NC  and will be required to occasionally travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations.

Requirements:

  • Possess a current certification in at least one of the following at time of proposal submission and maintain the certification throughout the life of the task order: Project Management Institute (PMI), Project Management Professional, PMI Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification, Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FAC P/PM) Level 3, Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III Program Management certification.
  • Active Top Secret clearance and be SCI-eligible by the Central Clearance Facility (CCF) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) at the time of proposal submission.
  • Five years’ recent experience providing DoD program management similar to the work described below, including work in CONUS and OCONUS environments.

Task 4-Training Delivery Services, Exercise and Assessment Support Services

Task 5-Readiness/Modernization Services
Task 6-Army Logistics and Equipment Services

Task 7-Operational, Analytical and Advisory Support

Task 8-Enterprise Support to the Warfighter

Task 9-Surge Support Services

Desired Qualifications:

  • Graduate of the Senior Service College.
  • Graduate of the Intermediate Level Education (ILE).
  • Master’s degree in a related business or technical discipline
