Our work depends on a Workforce Manager joining our team to support NASA activities at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston TX
At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Workforce Manager supporting NASA, you will be trusted to lead workforce management/planning activities to optimize resources to achieve business objectives.
Solve complex technical, administrative, and managerial problems
Forecast, schedule and optimize Employee and Contact Center Staffing allocation
Build workforce plans for resource deployment, a balanced workflow, and output expectations to ensure cost and service metric attainment.
Collaborate with the customer support management team to develop WFM strategies and identify areas for improvement, automation and cost savings
Maximizing technology and platforms to improve productivity and efficiency
Supervise non-exempt and exempt staff
Leads teams and processes that improve forecasts, capacity plans and schedules
Work closely with stakeholders to meet interval Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and contractual Service Level Agreements (SLA) as defined by the business.
Partner with operations, finance, and procurement to manage budgets, forecasts and resource allocation.
Build robust capacity plans and staffing models for existing lines of business and new product launches.
Utilize statistical methodology to analyze performance trends and improve metrics including but not limited to average handle time, utilization and shrinkage.
Leverage numerous data aggregation tools to forecast technical talent supply/demand for each position in every place of performance.
Work closely with stakeholders and clients to resolve manpower staffing and scheduling concerns
Provide updates on efficiency to management and designated client stakeholders
Uphold a high standard of customer service through real-time monitoring and other methods
Interface with customers and technical personnel
Prepare reports, deliver presentations, and participate in meetings
Consults with project staffs to outline work plans and to assign duties and scope of authority, directs the completion of tasks within estimated time frames and budget constraints.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience
Workforce management and client relations experience
Expertise in capacity planning, forecasting, real-time management, reporting and scheduling
Proficient in the use of workforce management tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Able to proactively collaborate with other departments to seek opportunities for improvement of resource utilization, and provide input on performance
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
The selected applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements. An existing security clearance or Public Trust is preferred.
