The Administrative Assistant IV will need to be able to successfully perform with a large amount of autonomy and discretion. Work will be both transactional and dynamic with the AA handling routine day-to-day responsibilities, such as maintaining visitor databases across multiple sites, cable traffic, new student security briefings, as well as taking the lead on multiple projects that are part of much larger scale projects being handled by the security team. For example, the AA will be gathering information and documentation to complete site security plans. The AA must demonstrate professional decorum as the first point of contact for those outside of the security team as well as the point of contact for providing indoctrination security briefings, following a script. The AA should be comfortable speaking In front of small to medium sized audiences of all levels and be able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing in support of security education. A government owned vehicle may be available for use when visiting other locations in the Washington Metro Area.
