Systems Administrator – Instant Messaging / Exchange / WebEx / Zoom – Active Top Secret Required

HOW A Systems Administrator WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Administering large deployments of Microsoft Exchange environments and messaging systems.

  • Configuring and supporting the Exchange environment.

  • Performing regular checks and conduct troubleshooting as necessary.

  • Providing technical support to end users for software and/or hardware issues.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving training, networking and software issues.

  • Utilizing ticketing systems to resolve user problems (Remedy/Jira).

  • Serving as technical and functional training expert.

  • Ensuring the security and integrity of system and product solutions.

  • Performing research, procurement, deployment and configuration of systems.

  • Presenting clear, organized & concise information to audiences to enable business decisions.


  • Education: BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related scientific or technical discipline (May substitute experience for education) 

  • Required Experience: 1-5 years of relevant experience supporting projects of similar size, scope and complexity

  • Required Technical Skills: DoD 8140 compliance required. (CompTIA Security+)

  • Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret

  • Required Skills and Abilities: Highly motivated, self-starter with great communications skills; effective problem solver; able to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.

  • Location: Washington, District of Columbia; limited telework may be available
