At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an Administrative Assistant III a typical day will include:
Working independently as a singular admin. to support the dissemination of the sponsor's reports. Reports will be generated in both electronic and hard copy forms and disseminated to the appropriate office
The Administrative Assistant will be in a singular role and will be tasked with mastering the numerous and complex sponsor software programs necessary to accomplish these duties
The administrative assistant will also serve in the capacity of a control officer for the office, handling daily tasks to adjudicate access requests to sponsor reports and facilitating this access base on direction from a staff office
This position is customer facing , and the administrative assistant will need to interact with other control officers, directorate officers throughout the sponsor office, and security teams on a regular basis in addition to the sponsor chief and deputy chief. Communication is primarily written, with the occasional need for in-person communication but there are no briefing responsibilities
The administrative assistant must be available to produce hard copy reports when needed (this is an infrequent occurrence). These reports are time sensitive and can only be completed by the resource in this position and therefore availability is critical.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
HS Diploma and 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
TS/SCI with Polygraph
Must be able to work the core hours of 9am-5pm
Must possess effective communication skills
Proficient Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Able to perform duties with minimal supervision and some team interaction
