Job Description

GDIT is seeking a Sustainment Planner for Robins AFB, GA.

The Sustainment Planner provides day -to-day multi-disciplined analysis and planning support for the PSI program to include long-range planning for overall system integration.  Planning includes preparing enterprise sustainment plans for the AF DCGS system, development life cycle management plans, technical refresh and installation plans.  Supports the PM for execution of and integrated and responsive operations and sustainment for the US Air Force GEOINT; SIGINT, and Multi-Int ACAT programs.  The Sustainment Planner serves as the primary POC to provide for planning integration for current operations and new technology integration to include SAP environments. 

Required Qualifications

  • Mastery knowledge of DoD, National Security, and Intelligence Community organizations, policies, legislation, and directives to plan and develop relationships and guidance for application of complex systems for unique situations in the ISR arena.
  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Source Background Investigation (SSBI)
  • Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
  • Demonstrated skill and experience in professional planning, organizing, conducting due diligence, and negotiating effectively with senior management to accept and implement recommendations, where planning involves substantial resources, and require extensive changes in established concepts and procedures
  • 5+ years experience in detailed coordination for sensitive activities and does not disclose National Security intent, capabilities, or vulnerabilities, and be prepared to brief selected portions to Senior AF and DoD officials, both verbally or in writing
  • 10+ years intelligence experience in any DoD component or minimum 4 years, operations, policy, military planning experience
  • DCGS experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in one of the following fields of study: Management, Business, Finance, Economics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
  • Minimum of ten years’ experience executing planning in the intelligence community
  • Experience with overseeing and implementing large-scale DoD ISR programs and initiatives
  • Experience with SOFA requirements, regulations, and processes


 

Travel Required: 10-25%
