The Backup and Restore Field Application Engineer (FAE) provides services in support of the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM). You will Draft, provide and execute enterprise plans for Backup, Recovery Disaster Recovery and COOP for test labs, preproduction, and production components. You will provide Army Enterprise backup and restore capability and analysis support in the form of security architecture review, COOP, and solution implementation. As well as, provide analysis and finalize documentation to ensure integration of backup and restore for the following: backup-related hardware, software and network component analysis. Analysis includes security policy, process, and procedure determination/evaluation, risk analysis, accreditation package analysis, and engineering change proposal analysis.  We are looking to hire a full-time Backup and Restore FAE to support our IT services contract located at Fort Huachuca, AZ.

Provide planning, design, development, engineering, integration, and technical and operational support to the ADCNOMS project.

Education

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience

Qualifications/Certifications

  • DoD 8570.1-M certification: IAT Level III Certification
  • Computing Environment Certification, CISCO and NETAPP FlexPod Design Certification
  • Clearance: Secret clearance, or willing to obtain an interim secret clearance
  • 5 – 8 years of experience in information technology field
