The successful candidate will have experience in user operations, integration, testing, patch implementation, installation execution, configuration, and troubleshooting of Increment I and Increment II GCCS-M software, interfaces and network issues.
Contributes to the completion of major engineering programs and may function in a project leadership role.
Responsible for developing solutions to a variety of highly complex engineering problems of advanced scope and complexity.
Performs systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end.
Oversight of highly complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
Performs continual maintenance and provides highly complex solutions for security, backup and redundancy problems.
Prepares and maintains a wide range of documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects.
BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
8+ years of experience analyzing and providing system engineering services to include; troubleshooting and documentation of issues and implementing solutions for hardware, software, interfaces, and network issues for each of the following C4I systems and related subsystems to include:
AN/USQ-119, 153, 172, 183, 184, 187, 208, or similar hardware systems
COMPOSE system variants
ATCA Blade server technologies
Oracle and NetApp storage arrays and systems
Network switching and routing technologies
Serial I/O and multiplexer technologies
GCCS-M Group Level/Force Level baselines
Solaris 10/11 operating system
Red Hat Linux 7/8 environment
