The CIO C4IIC Support program is searching for a cleared Project Coordinator to help support the DoD Chief Information Officer Chief of Staff office at the Pentagon. NOTE: Due to the type of access this role entails, telecommuting is not allowed and will require the employee to report full-time, onsite. HOWEVER, during the current COVID-19 global crisis, this program is temporarily allowing some telecommuting. Also, this contract is valid until January 2023 with a strong possibility to extend longer.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinating and organizing project-related activities as directed by the Chief of Staff (CoS), ensuring schedules and tasks are completed on time and within established quality parameters
Supporting CoS organization with daily administrative functions as tasked to include:
Calendar and conference room management
Meeting planning
Correspondence, Security, International Travel , IT, and Records Management
Writing summaries and talking points, formatting tables within Word documents
Required Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI clearance
Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
8+ years hands-on experience in Administrative Support
Required to demonstrate advanced skills for daily use in software applications including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
Familiar with Defense Travel System (DTS); reservations and travel claims
Previous experience with Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS); creating and assigning tasks; document processing
Proven history of being able to be able to perform concurrent tasks, with multiple deadlines, without errors or the need for extensive guidance.
Ability to successfully complete work independently and be an asset in a team environment
Ability to think strategically, research and analyze data, and respond to related questions/inquires
Extreme attention to detail and adherence to established deadlines
Excellent organization and time management skills, preferably demonstrated by previous DoD experience
Demonstrated effective oral and written communications, and a willingness to write short pieces
Confident management of voice and video conferencing equipment
Ability to provide support at the work site indicated above
Able to provide support during the contract length

Proficient with Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance System (APACS)
