The core hours for the office are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.


The Sponsor office supports the development of products that utilize commercial products for both test internal use as well as operational deployment examples of items include: computers laptops, tablets, smartphones, mobile devices, test gear, radios, IT equipment. The office utilizes COTS equipment's and systems but may also create or incorporate GOTS to create custom unique systems, products or tools.


The contractor must work with minimum guidance from office management to oversee the inventory management extensive portfolio of accountable property. The contractor will be working as a singleton but would be asked to cover for another property control officer during times of absence. At regular intervals, the contractor must be able to account for all items on loan, received or transferred to/from other components. The contractor will ensure that all relevant property is properly accounted for in the current system of record. The contractor will make updates in the property system of record when property changes locations. The officer will manage six accounts, approximately 778 pieces of property. The contractor will update SOPs for accountable property record keeping and coordinate accountable property efforts with the Senior Logistics officer in the office to ensure alignment of priorities. An annual inventory will be conducted with the Logistics office. Coordinate accountable property efforts with mgmnt, support the tech teams, working closely together to ensure a seamless secure process. The contractor will be responsible for multiple CMR's that cover components and or divisions. The contractor should be present for at least six hours during those hours.


The contractor is an individual contributor that will use any and all commons systems or databases to track property to include sponsor specific accountable property database, SharePoint, MS Excel and any designated LOGS system of record. The sponsor office is willing to train on sponsor specific systems that the IMPC contractor does not have experience with. The sponsor office prefers a contractor that has a basic fundamental understanding of logistics tradecraft.


The contractor will support monthly, quarterly and annual inventory and accountable property reviews and audits and reporting. Support day to day issuance and tracking and designation, check-in and check-out of accountable or trackable property.


The contractor will complete monthly, quarterly, and annual report of survey and accounting of accounts, regular access to sponsor accountable property database and reporting. The required reports are system generated from various sponsor logistics systems.


The contractor will use the appropriate scanning tools/barcoding and labeling as well as the appropriate data entry into systems of records, databases or spreadsheets as necessary.


The contractor will review shipping/receiving records as necessary to locate equipment and will move accountable property to appropriate storage rooms or containers.


The contractor will provide status or updates on inventory/property accountable status, as well as manage track keys to access storage rooms, cabinets, closets, etc.
